What is the 7 days of rest and reflection?

The 7 Days of Rest and Reflection is dedicated to cultivating Sacred Relationship with all of Life. Given this intention, we are delighted to dedicate this event to the White Lions and Lionesses of Tsau, and the work of Linda Tucker and Jason A. Turner, founders of the Global White Lion Protection Trust.

Why 7 days of rest&sacred renewal?

7 Days of Rest & Sacred Renewal takes place at a significant moment for humanity. The world as we know it is changing rapidly and many are recognising that we are at a pivotal point in human history.

Why should I attend at rest?

At REST, all of that is taken off of you so that you can WORSHIP. You’ll hear from the coaches, as well as other speakers, who will encourage you to reconnect with Jesus. Your spiritual health is so important…You’ll learn how to keep yourself healthy.

What is the purpose of the 7 days of rest and radical healing?

7 Days of Rest & Radical Healing inaugurates World Water Year 2021, as a call-to-action for citizens of all nations , cultures and a ges to unite for Life and to collectively transform how we organize ourselves as a species. The core purpose of World Water Year 2021 is to create an extended period of time for individuals and groups to unite and collaborate for the global adoption and implementation of the World Water Law.


What is the first step in healing?

All healing begins with rest , it’s the first step. A time for us to slow down and allow the designing intelligence; that animating life force to do its work. The wisdom, the guidance, the energy that it takes; all of that emerges from that place of rest . The sacred space for healing.

Join Todd Fields, Kim Walker-Smith, Matt Maher, Meredith Andrews, Rita Springer, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Travis Greene, Charlie Hall, Steve Fee, Mack Brock, and Paul Baloche in the North Georgia Mountains for a 3-day retreat, along with leaders from all over the world to REST in the knowledge that you are LOVED and NOT ALONE.


WHEN?

OCTOBER 24-26, 2022. Check in begins at 11:00 AM EDT on October 24th. Session 1 will start at 1:00 PM EDT. The final session will end around 11:00 AM EDT on October 26th. Plan your travel accordingly.


How much?

Tickets start at $549. Cost includes all lodging, meals, sessions, and conference materials.


Worship

By nature, your job is to make sure every element of worship is thought through, planned and executed with excellence. At REST, all of that is taken off of you so that you can WORSHIP.

Recharging

Get away for a few days and spend some time in REST. No agendas. No pressure. New friends. You pour yourself out every weekend. REST is a chance to recharge and prepare to press on.

After passionate speeches, prayers and tears, the “one, last shot” for the One Church Plan was defeated by a vote of 449-374 at The United Methodist Church’s 2019 General Conference.


What did Bishop Carter say about the General Conference?

Bishop Carter said that bishops will have to do a lot of outreach after this General Conference, especially to progressives who feel hurt by what transpired. “We are going to do a lot of outreach to progressives to say we see you ,” he said during a press conference after General Conference adjourned.

First approved was a petition moved forward by the Standing Committee on Central Conference Matters that sets a timeline for GC2019 legislation’s implementation in Africa, Europe and the Philippines.

When the Traditional Plan vote was announced and flashed on the screen, the room erupted with observers singing “Blessed Assurance.”.
