Papers must reflect original work or major developments in previously reported work. Papers are NOT eligible if they have been: Presented previously at ASA or other professional meetings. Papers that were accepted to the 2020 Annual Meeting but were not presented are eligible for resubmission.

Where can I find information about the meeting of the ASA?

The 18st Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) will be held Monday through Friday, 29 November-3 December 2021 at Hyatt Regency Seattle, Seattle, Washington. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Seattle at discounted rates. Information about the meeting also appears on the ASA webpage at AcousticalSociety.org.

How many papers can an author submit to Asa?

Authors may submit multiple, unique papers however, ASA policy limits authors to presenting only one single-authored paper and no more than two multi-authored papers on the final program. Authors may submit a paper to only one regular session topic.

How to write an ASA format sample paper?

Read the ASA format sample paper to compose it correctly: 1 FIRST LEVEL HEADING (CAPITALIZE ALL WORDS AND JUSTIFY THE LEFT SIDE) 2 Second Level Heading (Use Italics and Capitalize the First Letters of the Words Unless They are Prepositions or Conjunctions) 3 Third level heading (capitalize only the first word, use italics).

What is the ASA’s policy on abstracts?

The ASA reserves the right to reject any submitted abstract without giving extensively documented reasons. The presentation, and therefore the abstract, must be relevant to the field of acoustics, and focus on scientific developments, applications, standards, or education.
