For the first time in its storied program history, Navy will play for a conference championship in football. In just its second season in the American Athletic Conference, Navy makes its debut in the AAC Championship Game and will serve as host against the Temple Owls.

Navy joins the American Athletic Conference – oddly enough, as a member of the conference’s West Division – this fall, which creates a ripple effect that touches nearly half of the FBS.
