You can either share your screen and any application displayed on it, or if you are using a PC you can share a specific application window, such as PowerPoint. We do not support uploading to a server and presenting from there. I would recommend holding a test meeting/webinar with a co-worker to practice sharing first.

That’s too bad! It’s the only thing keeping us from using GoTo products. It looks really unprofessional during a training to go to a desktop and open files. Other webinar software allows you to upload the powerpoint and present straight from that with a little inset video.

Completely agree. This is a HUGE failing of the Go To Products and why I probably won’t continue after my trial. Very disappointed in this.

My issue is a bit different. We have a policy that does not allow us to share a screen. We must only share an application. However, when I drop down the “Start Sharing My:” selection, the presentation of Powerpoint is NOT listed. Powerpoint is listed, but this is the application itself.

I am using Windows 8.1 and PowerPoint 2013. There is one solution which is to use “Browsed by Individual” option but we use notes extensively and this option removes the presenter console. In a different product, the PowerPoint Presentation was a separate selection in the list of applications, but not in this case.
