The WJMC schedule is intense! It packs in the program speakers, site visits, simulations, and group discussions so that students get the most out of their time with us. It is important for students to get the rest they need at night and be prompt and present during the day. The week is nonstop, but our alumni say it’s worth it!

The Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC). This one-week, exciting Conference is designed exclusively for high-achieving high school students, and will be held on the campus of George Mason University, just outside Washington, D.C. Summer 2022 dates are from July 10 to 15 or July 17 to 22, 2022.

WHAT IS THE TUITION AND WHAT DOES IT COVER? Tuition to attend the Conference is $2,300. The online payment plan divides the tuition into equal monthly installments beginning with the day you register for WJMC. The full tuition is due by June 1, 2022.
